Like Chocolate and Peanut Butter

Imagine my delight when dishonest reporter Steve Hayes cited as another example of "journalistic sanity" on the Saddam/Al Qaeda lie... dishonest reporter Jeff Goldberg! God bless you, Steve. Beers are on me. Oh, if only the Weekly Standard's blog had the bravery to allow comments.

Ah the Weekly Standard. Fops et all. Golly, remember when Tucker Carlson thought there’d be “ancillary benefits” to the Iraq war? I realize that Carlson didn’t work for the Weakly Standard. Nah, Carlson spewed his brilliance to Chris Matthews. Jeez, isn’t Carlson brilliant? Yeah, like Hayes and Goldberg. Yeah, would 4000 admitted to dead service personnel be one of those “ancillary benefits?” What’s the count for those service personnel that are worse than dead? 30,000? 40,000? Gosh, what if the Pentagon has been lying all along and there are ACTUALLY more than 4000 dead service personnel? Golly, the Pentagon wouldn’t lie to Amerika would they? Gee-willikers, would lying be an ‘ancillary benefit’? 4000 dead Amerikan service boys and girls MUST BE the benefit for Bush’s genocide on Iraq. That’s all Amerika has to show for five freaking years stuck neck deep in a slaughterhouse quagmire. Well and there is that trillion dollar price tag. Gosh, would the price be right? How many zeros behind the one does it take for one trillion? Zeros and ‘ancillary benefits’ and dead Amerikan boys and girls. Yeah, it must be worth it.
